A tip from us is to try to keep away from easter when traveling, this time of year is crazy in Colombia both with tourism and costs. If you want to experience Colombia we advice you to do this after the wedding, if you have the opportunity.

To get to most of the destinations from Bogotá you need to fly, the options are:
If you wish to rent a car, it can be done at the main airports. If you are renting in easter time, book as soon as you can because of high activity.
The city where the wedding is taking place is located ca. 3 hours from Bogotá by car. It is a very nice drive and it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the nice nature that meets you when "exploding" out of Bogotá, the busy city.
You can get there by public transportation as well.
